California Lemon LawThe California "lemon law" addresses defective new vehicles and consumer's rights under the manufacturer's written warranty. If a vehicle which is covered under warranty suffers from substantial defects which are not repaired by the dealership, the manufacturer must replace the vehicle with a substantially similar new vehicle, or refund the purchase price paid by the consumer.
